Calling all lovers of French Charcuterie, the transformation of lowly cuts of meat into decadent spreads, slabs and pots of rich and robust flavor, such as foie gras, chicken terrine and duck confit.

Celebrated food writer Michael Ruhlman will be in Stock to sign his latest book of recipes and insights into the tradition, “Pate, Confit, Rillette: Recipes from the Craft of Charcuterie.”

To enhance the event, we’ll be offering samples of products made from his book, as well as some french ciders to complement. We’ll also have other Ruhlman titles on hand, including the companion to this book, Charcuterie: The Craft of Salting, Smoking, and Curing and perennial Stock favorite of technique and science, “Ruhlman’s Twenty.”
